Today I'm sharing with you the fluffy burger bun recipe I've been using all the time. They go well with any burger patties and taste incredibly awesome!
Ingredients:
<A>
100g Plain Flour
110g Milk
2g Yeast
<B>
75g Plain Flour
15g Sugar
4g Salt
1 egg yolk
20g Softened Butter
Black/White Sesame seeds
STEPS:
1. Mix the ingredients of <A> and set aside for 10 minutes, store into the fridge overnight.
2. Combine <A>, plain flour, sugar, salt and egg yolk, knead for 15-20 minutes until the dough becomes smooth and non-stick, cover with cling film and put into the fridge for 15 minutes.
3. Add in softened butter and knead for another 5 minutes, return to the fridge for 20 minutes.
4. Remove the dough from the fridge and leave it in a warm environment for fermentation until it doubles in size. (~1-2 hours)
5. Knead the dough for 1-2 minutes and divide into 4 equal portions, roll each dough into a ball shape.
6. Place the dough on a baking tray, cover with a wet towel and put in a warm environment for 30 minutes until it doubles in size.
7. Brush each dough with egg wash and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top, bake in a preheated oven (180C) for 18-20 minutes.
8. Serve and ENJOY!

1 year agoSome things are not clear about the procedure sir. 1. We mix all <A> ingredients set aside for 10mins and store them in the fridge overnight. I know step number 2 is for <B> ingredients and not <A> again but there is no step telling us what to do with <A> that was kept in the fridge the previous night.
